JohnZ said: I'm actually looking for suggestions on this as well as I'm trying to sort out some issues with my 1.8 tdci. I've replaced a couple of mine now and it's honestly not that difficult. I bought a removal tool for the injectors and found it wasn't needed, just a regular socket to remove the clamps. The injector then just pulls right out

This happens between 1,500 rpm and 2,000 rpm and only once the car has warmed up to its optimum 90degree temperature. the feel and the sound is like before you are about to stall or haven't given enough power when pulling away. Ford Year: 2006. UK/Ireland Location: Fife. Posted August 12, 2014. Because on a tdci the fuel pump is only supplying pressure to the 'common rail'. The ecu controls the timing for when the injectors open, meaning the pump is simply supplying the high pressure fuel to them. The older tddi engines the pump was timed to ensure the correct order. .
