Posted April 20, 2022. Hi, my 2014 Mk2 Galaxy (2.0 TDCI) often goes into limp mode when accelerating hard. It shows " service engine now" on the dash and loses power (I guess the turbo gets disabled?). Stopping the car and switching the engine off will "cure" the problem.I have recently acquired an 2005 Mondeo, 2.0 TDCi 130hp and I have the following problem: When I first start it during the day (doesn't matter if it's cold or warm outside, the problem always happen) I get a good amount of white/blue-ish smoke with a strange smell. Also, the RPM fluctuates for about 30seconds-1 minute. After about 20s-40s starting you can hear the engine getting fuel and struggling to start but eventually starts and runs smoothly after. Without using the park heater the car starts just as fine as you would expect at -24 degrees celcius (=a little slow and with a furious sound) Here is the start after using park heater at about -15.

My car is a 2008 140. I needed a new middle section on the exhaust. During that being fitted, it was noticed that there was a split at the flexi. I bought a new downpipe from carparts4less and that was fitted a week later. Almost instantly, I had issues with smoke from under the bonnet. Hi all. I am having problems with my Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 130 when under load over 2000rpm i am loosing boost and leaving grey smoke behind and it sounds like its leaking boost down the exhaust. I have had this problem for a while and so far I have cleaned the turbo out to make sure the vanes wasn't sticking, new map sensor, new maf sensor, new egr .
